Little BlackPig has been scratching a bit, and after you scratch him on the same areas (on his flanks,just in front of his hips) he tries to scratch your fingers, and tries to bite and is generally uncomfortable. I cant find any spots or scaly patches on his skin - his skin seems clear under the hair.
I dont know if anyone has any suggestions? I have had a pig before with mites, and she scratched holes in her sides, so i dont think it is that.
I am generally in the dog house with him now, as he feels mauled. I am supposed to be riding tomorrow morning, but the vets opens at 830, so i can call then and see if i can put off riding for a while if i take him in. They might have to stay in the car all morning though whilst i ride.
