We have 3 young boars and have had to separate one due to bullying. The other two seem fine together. We are thinking about getting the lone boar a partner so he won't be lonely, but there are no rescues anywhere near us. Any ideas how to choose a good match...I believe pet stores may be our only choice. Thank you!

I had 3 boars, one started getting bullied and actually ended up with scabbing all over his rump, I got another boar so I now have 2 pairs of boys. Make sure they have 2 of everything, food, water, igloo, hay bag, my boar who has been newly paired enjoys the company but they both enjoy being separate as well, space and double of everything will give you the best chance. Good luck

So sorry that you've had to separate them, but statistically a trio of boars is the least stable bond. How old is your solo piggy?
