I'm not sure if I want help or if I'm just looking for reassurance that this is normal behaviour, which I suspect it is...
My boys are brothers and about 12 weeks old max, yesterday the alpha discovered that the ramp isnt just for chomping on but you can climb it and there is a whole new world up there... smaller pig hasnt worked this out yet and is now in a panic, screaming for his 'lost' brother.
Alpha is chilling out upstairs and having a nap seemingly glad to get away from being constantly pestered. He can definitely get back down, ive seen him, he is choosing not to.
I know its normal for them to want a time out but is it normal for one to not want a time out? Its making me wonder if the larger one is actually older and they are not brothers at all (they were from the rehoming part of pets at home) because the behaviour seems so different to each other
