Seperating guinea pigs

Hi! I'm thinking of seperating my bonded pair of boars for a couple of days. I'm worried about one of my guinea pigs and its really hard to track how much hes eating and pooping when their together. Will it break their bond if i put them in seperate cages right next to eachother for a day or two?

Please do not separate them, particularly as they are still within the period of sorting out their relationship. It causes stress and can, at worst, ruin a bond - they can refuse to go back together again.

If you need to know how much one of the piggies is eating, you simply weigh him every day.
