So angry.

I also feel sick. I am Annie btw.

I would inform the RSPCA on this as the poor animals living in those cages aren't going to have a very good quality of life, also inform her that there are guidelines on sizes that she's clearly unaware of :(

Good on you for pointing it out though! I probably wouldn't have been able to stop myself using some colourful language in response to her last comment, some people!

I am trying to hold my fingers away from the keyboard and have signed out of Facebook. But she claims she knows what she is doing?!? Hmm not sure how to report someone online to the RSPCA or SSPCA up here - do you have any ideas?

Also the words small and guinea pigs don't go together lol.

My pigs have free run of the house even if it is just a one bed flat and still get excited to go outside!

Sorry for multiple posts but I have emailed SSPCA and they are looking into it for me.

Hopefully they make her see sense, really angers me how people think GP's don't need lots of space, my boys are always raring to go and run constantly when on floor time! You've done the right thing though :)

Some people literally have no grasp of common sense. Regardless of what a "certain website" says about guine apig cages size it doesnt take a genius to look at an adult pig in a tiny dimensional cage and realise that it is cruel. Grrr small cages make my blood boil. *shakes fist*

It's completely unsurprising, people don't like to be told they are doing things wrong... regardless of the fact that a 60cm cage is too small for a Syrian hamster let alone a guinea pig.

Also, if it's a two-tiered 120 being offered for £40 with room to bargain that's a really good price she should have jumped at that opportunity!

Exactly, it is probably "too big". Also not happy about how they are being caged separate. Does that mean that they never socialise?!?

I missed that bit entirely! £40 is a bargain for that. I would have that! Foolishness of some people. If you dont have the space don't get the pets its as simple as that . Poor things
