Set ups!

Ok here is my freshly cleaned out (no poop shame!) set up :) 20181017_145840.webp20181017_150015.webp20181017_150026.webpits an L-shaped 5x5x2 C&C with a loft. So, a 5x2 C&C with a 3x2 C&C with a loft connected on the side. The 3x2 area is a hay play room, then a 3x2 section of the main cage is fleecy bedroom, with a 2x2 kitchen area where the food bowls go.
As you can see the freshly filled hay play area is always most popular straight after a clean out!
The loft is mostly used by little boar Theo when he needs some "guy time" away from the ladies, that's full of hay too and I sometimes put a manly Rosewood naturals sunflower and dandelion treat bar up there for him (I tie one to the cage bars in the hay room for the ladies too).

Can't you get rid of some furniture, or threaten to dislodge a spouse? I moved a sideboard, got rid of a set of drawers, and threatened to put my husband's favorite couch outside with him on it- he looked a bit sceptical when I first suggested a piggy room and showed him the cage dimensions, so I explained that if he didn't agree to a piggy room then the C&C was going in the under the stairs alcove where his little "man cave" is and he'd lose his couch and CD collection :) I'm sure he thinks his favorite piggy little boar Theo is worth it!

I can’t as the only place their cage fits is lodged between the wall and hubbys desk in the pigs room. I could have a 2 by 3 but then that would be too smallAD19DB08-7B5D-4E1D-8D63-70FFF0B6F392.webp :( If I want a bigger cage, I would have to move them outdoors and I’m not doing that :)

Your cage is nice and big though, gotta work with what you have! I finally decided C&C just because my big fat ladies would never use a ramp, and also I realised I'm far too short to reach into the upper tier of the ferplast type one I bought a bit like yours, I put the piggies in to try it out then I had to wait until my husband got home to rescue them from the top floor as it only had a door in the roof!

Thank you. I’m just so relieved that mine use the ramp :)
