Severe IC

Sat in the waiting room. Shes been sedated because they've removed some internal stitches. Rather worried with it not being a piggy vet. Apparently shes reacting to the stitches which is what my vet thought
 
Nancy is back home. Vet removed internal stitches and have just put in stitches on the outside that can be removed. She said there was dead tissue inside and she thought it was a reaction from stitches
 
I didn't get a notification about any updates, I've missed so much! Sounds like a roller coaster ride with Nancy's surgery - amazing news that it wasnt anything sinister and I'm so glad that the surgery went well and that her squeaky wee wees have subsided as a result 🙌 So sorry to hear she developed an infection, how is she doing now that she's had the internal stitches removed?

Thank you. She seems fine currently. Shes been stitched up with non dissolvable stitches which aren't normally used with rodents as they can pick at them. But she is currently doing fine. Hoping there is no infection underneath but she had a check up today and vet couldn't see any problems!
My normal vet is back on Monday
