My long haired guinea pig has severe static lice which I'm aware she got from her hay. They have multiplied A LOT and have spread to the hairs near her face ever since I cut her hair. Her hair grows rapidly hence why I have to cut it often since its gets everywhere and makes her really dirty but I noticed after a week, the lice have clearly moved aand looks about like a 50 of them in one strand of hair and I noticed they seem to love her a bit more than my other 3 guinea pigs which are short haired. I've purchased the Lice n Easy from Gorgeous Guineas and its in the way, but will that be enough? Any advice? Thank you! <3

Hi!

Please get rid of your hay and try to find another brand; ideally one that is not mass produced imported hay.

Please see a vet for some good quality ivermectin or selamectin based prescription-only product like stronghold or revolution, ideally by injection and you will need at least 3 rounds of it at the product specific interval, as this sounds like a severe infestation.
The Gorgeous Guineas bath won't be enough. Your vet may also prescribe a medicated bath in addition to the ivermectin/selamectin course (brand names vary depending on the country).

Before you bathe, please give your girl a really short haircut with some small dog clippers or scissors to remove as many egg cases fixed to hairs as possible - that is going to be a lot less mites in the next generation you have to try and get on top of.
Do the same with any companions. The hair will grow back.

Give the cage or hutch a proper deep clean, including all walls, bars and furniture.
