Shampoo left in the skin

Hello , I’ve recently just washed the bum of my Guinean pig with shampoo but not bathed him and just put a bit of water over the shampoo but I’m just wondering if left over shampoo in a guinea pig can cause a discease or any dryness in the skin . So far the furs just a but dry when you touch it but I only did it about 2 hrs ago but do I need to do anything else or will that feel go away

If will possibly dry out the skin and leave the fur rough if it isn’t rinsed out properly

I used the Johnson’s insetical shampoo for guinea pigs but I’ve just woken up and the skin feels ok will it still be able to dry it out ? Also I was cleaning him and none of the yellow stains seemed to come out does that mean I’ll fully have to bath him because there still yellow stains on his bum

I would try a bum bath with just plain water and not do a full body bath. What is he bedded on?

Just some sawdust and Timothy hay with newspaper on the bottom
