I love all my piggies dearly but Nigel holds a very special place in my heart because of his health issues and the fact that he is so up and down, so when he popcorned for the first time I cried. He doesn't do it often but it's very special when he does.

Also when we took in Buzz and Woody from their horrible previous home and we saw them eating veg for the first time, I cried then too.

One of my special moments was when my Amelia Jane was in hospital. She had crystals in her bladder and was very poorly. The staff were worried as she seemed to be getting worse. I insisted on taking her home. When I saw her and picked her up she gave a little noise of hello. The nurse was amazed as she had not managed to get a sound out of her. I was thrilled to have her home and she slowly got better. Now she almost always lets me pick her up which is very unusual for my piggies. :)

YEY! how nice! But how do you properly get your guinea pig. Mine is so big that I'm not really sure how to properly pick him up :D

I put one hand under their bottom and the other hand scoops them into my hand. I then quickly transfer them to my chest so they feel safe.
