So have four piggies 2 sows and 2 boars. My sows share food fine. My boars on the other hand seem to share food fine, but i have noticed recently changes in weight. nothing drastic just a few grams here and there. My baby sciuto is around 7 months old, was gaining quiet nicely but these last few ways ins, he has drifted down by a 1 or 2 grams. Whereas Bumble my 2 year old, has gained. in 2 weeks he gained 20g being his biggest weight to date, his weight is normal quite steady. Any ideas on how to get they to divide food better, i give them the recommed amount of their daily pellets, unlimited hay and handful of fresh veggies. Just wondered if there was anything i could do to tame by greedy piggy and get my baby gaining again.

Can you put down two separate piles of veggies at opposite ends of the cage, or even put in a third small portion as a decoy - your biggest piggie can’t be at two food piles at once thereby giving be smaller one much more of a chance to get some food.
You do obviously need to keep an eye on weight losses and rule out any medical problems if the losses become significant

Thanks for the advice, his been checked over by the vet this week and no signs of any thing wrong - i will keep an eye on it though.
