...which strangely doesnt seem to be a normal Friday heatwave evening occupation for many non-piggy folks?

Started off with a laundry basket full of:

And now Blodwen pig is beautifully shorn with the quiet cordless number 4 hair clippers :)

Didnt do so well with old Jezzy floof she seemed a bit uncomfortable being touched today so I just quickly chopped off the longest bits she didnt mind with the scissors and washed her poopy wee pants, glad she has a vet check next Friday she's a bit out of sorts really, though not sure what the vet will make of the impromptu "chop-and-go ok we won't bother with the left flank if you dont like it" hair style...
Both floofs rewarded with babycorn and back in the cage with a big pile of hay, neither seem too bothered now but Theo is giving me the pig eye that his ladies dont smell of wee anymore!

And for some piggy logic reason Clover has chosen to nap in a fleecy tunnel, in a sunbeam, when its 24 degrees already!20210717_094933.webp
I'm going to get a cool damp sheet over that end of the cage now and pop a frozen bottle under that tunnel :)
