Shavings

Hi
I currently have 2 tier outdoor 5ft x 2 ft hutch.
I use shaving and I'm find them extremely messy even just picking up piggys ends up with shavings on floor.
With it being an outdoor hutch I cannot see fleece working maybe wrong.
Any other cheap ideas. (Use newspaper and then shavings on top)

A bedding like Carefresh or Auboise which is more 'weighty' than shavings might make less mess?

I used to use Auboise and it did make some mess, but it wasn't too bad.
I had newspaper on the bottom, Auboise on top and then a decent covering of hay over the whole lot.

I would be tempted to go to the place you usually buy your bedding and have a look at the structure of the different bedding's on offer.
This should help you find one which is less flyaway.
