Hi!

Your piggy is in serious discomfort. Please see a vet NOW as a life or death emergency!
List Of Life And Death Out-of-hours Emergencies

At the moment(it should be just another hour or two before I can), I can’t take her. I’ve been trying to give her water and lettuce. I’ve also let her stay on her side while we wait. Is there anything else I should do ?

You need to take the piggy to see a vet as an emergency.
She needs to see a vet as a matter of urgency

Ive had her like this for a bit. I tried to pull her up over my lap some more so her head isnt leaning down but she just keeps moving so it is.

I’m sorry to hear this and see her like that, it looks as though she doesn’t have much time left....

@JohnClean I don’t know what is preventing you going to the vet now but I would seriously recommend going. Please use a taxi, borrow cash, whatever to get there asap.

We're not vets so can't say what is wrong but my guess would be a seizure or serious bloat. She is likely to be dying and possibly in terrible pain.

There is nothing you can do other than seek vets help.

i Couldn’t leave because my dad would have to pay and he wasn’t home but now he is home and he wants to wait it out and see if she’ll be fine. She stood up For a few seconds to walk around until finding another’s position to sleep. Her sounds are also calming down.

I'm sorry but this forum is not suggesting the fact of urgency in order for this to be ignored. Your piggy looks very very ill, and if left, is unlikely to survive, waiting it out is not fair on the piggy, and if money is an issue, your are only going to be paying heightened fees for "out of hour" care. Guinea pig deteriorate very rapidly, and if prompt action is not taken is usually fatal.

Alright, I’ll try to get her there. Thank you.

Unfortunately guinea pigs are generally fragile creatures and once they are severely ill they never make a "miraculous" recovery by sitting and waiting.

As soon as we got ready to go she died. Thank you guys for all the help.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You tried to do the best, for your brother and his guinea pig, you offered her food and water and kept her company and monitored her. RIP little one. 😢

Thank you everyone

I’m not sure how old she was. The petsmart people didn’t give us a lot of information.
How long had your brother had it from petsmart? If it was recently then he may have the option of speaking to them as it shoukd have been in good health when he got it
