So this one might sound a bit confusing but I've recently just had a shed purpose built with a hutch inside the shed, however today with the weather being nice for the first time this year, it revealed a flaw with the shed - it gets hot, very hot in sunlight, so I thought about moving the shed inside our garage (its a brick built garage).
Its not used to store a car, only pedal bikes and other stuff that doesn't live in the house.

What are peoples thoughts on this?
Any advice is appreciated :)

Yes, that sounds like it will be cooler, or a shading part of the garden that gets little sunshine. People often ask will my piggies be too cold in a shed, where as the question should be how will I keep my piggies cool in a heatwave or even normal sunny weather.
I know from own experience that conservatories, summerhouses and shed get very hot, that in my mind is the biggest problem. Piggies adapt to the cold weather in winter as long as they are dry and kept out of rain and winds

Yes, moving them somewhere cooler is a good idea.

My piggies live in my shed year round. It’s not keeping them warm in winter which is the hardest part, it’s definitely keeping the cool in summer. I have to get them out of the shed and into the lawn run or move them into the spare cage in the house (when it’s too hot for them to be on the lawn) daily anytime from April, and then they move into the house in a spare cage for several weeks during the height of summer.
