Getting a new 4 ft / 3 ft cage soon for 2 sows in that 'tank' as everyone calls it. :
Also might be having all built in hutches and lots of shelves for the cages
Hi my wife talked me into converting half of my shed for the guinea pigs so they are cosy in the cold and damp weather so i have started by putting 2 cages at the bottom on top of our £ 28 lino she went and got honest it was the cheapest bit they had on the roll she said but it is nice and thick so should last a while anyway here it is with the wee pigs having a trial run they seem to like it a lot the front bit comes of for easy cleaning also i have just fitted a mesh door so the fresh air can get in just like a big hutch
i still want to put more hutches inside and give them my whole shed
Hi we have 3 boars and 3 sows :smitten: in each and they are 5 months old boys are marley toffee and buster the girls are fern bracken and blondie the width is 20 inches and the length is 3 and a half feet each we also have a two tier hutch and 2 nero 3s for the really cold weather to bring them inside
This used to be my setup but I dont have as many piggies or live with Nathans parents now. 4 Piggies are still there though.
The four piggies have 3 hutches. the two top you can see have a hole in the middle and Cucumber is very anti-social so she lives on her own, I do bring her to my flat for a weekly visit. The other large ones are now full of garden stuff and the small boar hutches are no longer.
