So we've been dealing with mites these last couple of weeks, everyone else is doing fine but poor Shelly is a bit of a mess and losing hair. She's currently on Metatone to give her health and immune system a bit of a boost and as you can see, she adores it :)

Unfortunately I gave her a good check over and found a pea sized lump near her right nipple so I am concerned that her not bouncing back from the mites is due to this but I have everything crossed it's just a fatty lump... shes off to the vets first thing to have this looked at but in the mean time I am just giving her lots of fuss and some extra treats. (you might want to skip about half the video of me trying to find her face XD)

Sending her lots of healing vibes and hugs to you

Thanks guys! I'm trying so hard not to freak out, never really dealt with lumps before. I'm sure it will be fine, she's a tough old beanbag..

Thank you! Her appointment is in just over an hour, I'm so nervous and feel sick. I've barely slept. My alarms due to go off in a minute so I'd better get up and get ready

Well good news! They're most likely fatty lumps :) no sign of mites any more but I can repeat the ivermectin treatment in a few weeks if shes still itchy just in case. She has a cyst on her side which I can deal with myself and she's gained weight since last time. So We're all good! The hair loss is most likely stress related now. She's a but annoyed now though bless her!

Very glad to hear of the news from the vet. Should be a bit more a of a breather for both of you. She really looks like a sweet girl.

As soon as I took her out the carrier she seemed to forgive me, she wanted a cuddle, which is most unlike her! Didnt last long but the time spent trying to gain her trust seems to be paying off with the stroppy little madam! :) On close inspection the hair on her belly seems to be growing back in which can only be a good sign, fingers crossed in a couple of weeks she will be fully fluffed again.

Oh bless her :luv: Good to hear the lump is most likely only fatty tissue. She is gorgeous  x
