Sherwood Health Pet Food - coming to the UK!

I've been writing to Sherwood Pet Health in US to request that they start distributing their guinea pig and rabbit foods in the UK, and - great news - they inform me that they hope to have their foods, supplements and SARx recovery foods available in the UK in the 'very near future'.

Whether you agree with the research or not - I have not tried their foods with my guinea pigs due to the high cost of postage, though I know there are others on the forum who have, sometimes with mixed results! - I can only see it as a good thing that their products are available from UK suppliers, avoiding the need for individuals to pay extortionate import and customs charges if they want to give the Sherwood diet a go with their piggies, particularly if they have bladder issues.

I've put together quick poll as they have asked if I would gauge interest among UK guinea pig owners, and what better place to start than here - please take a moment to vote!

I have been continuing to nudge and cajole, though I have stopped during the pandemic. They we’re working towards mid 2020 the last time I was in touch, but this may have since changed. I will follow up next month and update on here.

What I have discovered is now possible, which was not before, is that one can order a bag from US Amazon.com and the postage, although fairly hefty, is much less than what people have paid on this forum; it’s about £15.

My piggies were not that keen on the timothy pellet after all that! They are nibbling on it, and I mix it with Rosewood Meadow Menu Pellets.

Hi, I’ve only just stumbled across this thread and wondered if you knew whether the Sherwood SAR X recovery food is available to buy over here? I’ve looked on Amazon and it’s saying currently unavailable. TIA

UPDATE: Just4Rabbits (Natural Forage, Timothy Hay and Enrichment For Rabbits | just4rabbits) will soon start stocking Sherwood Pet Health products, for rabbits initially, but they are open to including guinea pig products too, I think.
