The wonderful S and S were as keen as ever for brekky today!

They seem more relaxed with each other. Shimmer is the first one to react to food being given out. Saffron appears as soon as the munching noises start, her little orange nose appears out of the hay tray area (Shimmer prefers the under bed area) and she pulls whatever Shimmer is chomping on out of her mouth! No real protests. Shimmer either pulls it back again or simply helps herself to more.

I always feed multiple pieces of lettuce, bell pepper, coriander and cucumber so that they both have plenty to forage for and munch on.

Morning is hay tray cleaning and fleece area shake down (every few days a change of fleece) and veg. scattered.

Evening is hay top ups and dried herbs scattered in hay tray area.

There are one or two million snack times during the day as well. Shimmer is very happy to come right up to the bars for some coriander or a green bean! She retreats to shelter immediately but it is very wonderful that she is so brave already.

They will have been with me a whole week tomorrow.

Supper time.

This morning there were some wheels when I started chatting to them.

They love their hay trays. I can hear little munching noises when they discover the new hay (and scattered veg).

Shimmer's white back leg.

They both loved the fresh grass I gave them.

They are so precious. I love how Shimmer is sitting surrounded by hay 😍 she should join the hay diving Olympics!

My golden agouti has a white back leg too. Gorgeous 🥰

She is in training!

Ooo would love to see pics

Here’s my Edamame’s white back leg - he’s only 11 weeks old so he’s still growing into his colouring, but I’m 90% sure he’s a golden agouti! He has three white paws but only one fully white leg

Shimmer does remind me of him a little 😍

The IKEA dolls bed is nice. Lots of room to hide under it. I like the stool-roof over it 👍

Oh yes I see what you mean. He really is utterly lovely. His friend reminds me of a smooth version of my little sow, Mistletoe.

His white leg is so sweet. I can also see that he has the orange belly colouring that my second ever guinea pig, Whiskey had and that Shimmer also has.

Mistletoe back right in first pic. Her sister, Jingle under an idea dolls bed (!). Rosie (smooth haired) and her sister, Cherry blossom, Mistletoe by the hay rack and last but by no means least the neutered boar, Cufflinks!

All done. 😁
Thanks @weepweeps .
We need to move it to Guinea Pig chat or Photos and Videos now.
As this is an introduction thread I think a lot of people will miss it.
Lacking the Tech skills one of the other mods will have to help out.
I’m worried if I try I’ll probably delete the whole thing !

@BossHogg @Piggies&buns @VickiA please 😁

I do wish that I had more space for S and S but at least I have a run that they can go in once they have settled.

Great idea. Thank you.

Supper time. Hay trays silled veg and dried herbs scattered.

A clean out and slight change around today.

A nicely full hay tray meant invisible fuinea pigs for a while!

Shimmer put her front paws up on the bars of the cage this morning so I had to give her a slice of red pepper.

Saffron heard the munching, raced over, snatched the pepper and legged it into the hay tray area. All before I had put her slice into the cage!

I handed Shimmer another piece!
