The way they sit together is so sweet How is the cage turning out?

It is so sweet.

The cage is nice and secure. I love the 2 big opening doors at the front (I never use the top door as the cage is up on a stand). Such good access.I

They are used to me unclipping to dog lead clips in order to open the doors and don't flinch!

I really like the cage but wish it was twice as big (it is 160cm x 80cm), well at least half the size again. It is wonderfully easy to clean and I am considering putting a loft in there.

There has been a fair bit of rumble strutting from Saffron although nothing else.

They still eat together. Hope they settle.

They have been relaxing together this afternoon.

Coriander has been handed out a lot. Who can resist a pleading face?!

They have very similar faces. Saffron is still doing a lot of rumbling but it doesn't seem to faze Shimmer at all which is great.

I feed Saffron first now in case she is the top guinea pig. Will read up on this a bit more. It was more obvious in the herd.

I had no idea Shannon was top pig until the bonding. But if you don't know then actually it doesn't matter, because they're comfortable enough with the bond that they don't have to give off the signals we pick up on, if that makes sense. I know I had no idea between Comet and Blitzen, and even with the skinnies I was never certain.

Fleece area all clean and some coriander to keep them happy!
