Shimmer and Saffron

Saffron still rumbles at Shimmer a fair bit.

They had obviously had a good old run around last night but hopefully that was zoomies.

What signs should I look for re bond discomfort?

They may well be teenagers. The lady I got them from wasn't sure of their age.

I never hear any submissive squeals ...
 
Ah yes I did read about that.

Still plenty of rumbles from Saffron which is always about food!
 
Been doing some unexpected rabbit bonding today.

My neighbouring rabbits were in the shed today and I saw that it was 35 in there. Eek.

They were whisked out and put into a guinea pig run on the north facing grassy front lawn.

They were so happy 😊

I thought that as it is neutral territory I may as well try them together.

Moondust just hopped over to Snowflake and they sat side by side.

A little later she washed his head and later his weepy eye.

It is like they have always been together ❤️

Lovely 🥰 I think rabbits prefer cool weather, or even quite cold weather. It's great that they have taken to each other ❤️
 
Rabbits still doing well. So happy for Snowflake especially. He will be 13 in November. Moondust is 7. They both lost their partners last year.

Roll on the weather cooling and them being able to move back into a freshly cleaned shed.
 
Shimmer should be a contender for club bar chew! @AidaB has Wally Werepig who runs it I believe

Love that Saffron waits to steal food from Shimmer. Tofu used to do that with his brother when they were young 😍

Glad the rabbits are getting along well

I hope your ears are ok, with all the bar chewing.
We have enjoyed a quieter patch throughout the hot weather, when Wally’s been a bit more subdued.
