I was greeted with this lovely face when I went to the shed for a visit and a snack distribution session!

They are often eating next to each other which is rather nice to see.

Moondust and Snowflake are happy together and will eat side by side.

Lovely hay area with ings hay and soft green timothy hay.

Moondust and Snowflake had some willow today after which Snowflake retreated to paint tin corner and Moondust chilled in the hay.

The lovelies were fine in the shed today (in run in north facing garden yesterday due to extreme heat).

The guinea pigs made little cooing noises when I put them back in their cage last night. The rabbits hopped away flicking their feet in annoyance!

I have quite a small front garden which faces north and is therefore lovely and cool even on the hottest of days.

I am considering investing in a double hutch and run so I can quickly and easily get the 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs into a cool comfortable area rather than their south facing back garden oven/shed. They currently have a rather lightweight run which is a good size and easy to transport buut not exactly predator proof and can be hard to get the lid on straight.

A lovely sturdy double hutch would be blissfully easy. Expensive though. Any thoughts/recommendations are welcome!

Moondust is delighted to have found a lovely cosy space on top of her old hutch which I repositioned during their weekly deep clean.

They are all lovely. So glad the rabbits have bonded and look forward to the guinea pigs having an upgrade from their 160 x 80cm cage.

Feeling a bit low today. It looks like my long haired hamster, Kulfi may well have cushings. I am going to contact an exotics vet in Bristol tomorrow to talk to them.

Today Saffron has been very rumbley and stiff walked around the cage rumbling. Shimmer didn't seem perturbed.

Shimmer came out to eat and Saffron heard her munching and came to investigate!
