Thank you. He had his first dose of steroids tonight so hopefully they will help him feel a bit better. The specialist vet thinks that he has cancer. He will be on a teeny dose of steroids twice a day and although it won't cure him or make his hair grow or lumps vanish it should be beneficial to him.
 
32 degrees in the house today.

I rushed down to the shed and gently gathered all the animals into carriers in put them in our lovely shaded front garden.

Snowflake wasn't sure initially but soon got brave.

Shimmer and Saffron LOVED the grass.

Some better pics today. Moondust looking so so so lovely. Snowflake asking for head licks as always!

Saffron eating from the hay rack, Shimmer enjoying the hay area. Shimmers back foot as she rushes off with her kale only to re appear moments later wondering where it had gone. These little sweeties are still pretty shy and only come out when there is food around.

I am too JC. Shimmer was well impressed with cabbage and chard today. Saffron appeared briefly!

Moondust and Snowflake always appreciate green leaves of any kind. Snowflake's legs are looking a bit awkward but he is still hopping around when there is something new to investigate, usually food.

I managed to collect a fair amount of willow on the dog walk this morning. Willow from high up as dog wee is poisonous to guinea pigs. As usual Shimmer started munching and a few seconds later out came Saffron!

Snowflake and Moondust enjoyed some forage as well.

My indoor only piggies must smell grass growing all around. I have wheatgrass in my window box which they can have. The local grass might not be safe though and I don't know if they are used to eating lots of grass, so we keep to moderate amounts🌾
