I had Velvet on my knees earlier giving her a cuddle and my 2 year old daughter bounded over and without warning picked up velvet by the scruff of the neck in the same way you would pick up a kitten, velvet squealed and I removed Abbie's hand from the piggy, the piggy is fine but wondered if she squealed cause a sudden movement shocked her?

Yes, Truffle (our shyest piggie) occasionally squeals if someone makes a sudden unexpected movement too close to her
