some people are just so cruel pow-pow

poor piggy, so glad she is safe now. she's beautiful x)

Some people make me sick! On top of a bin of all places! Even if they didnt want to take it to a rescue for what ever reason, they couldnt leave it somwhere better, like in a shop or on someones door step, but a bin! oh It makes me so angry!

I feel so angry that someone could do that to a young piggie. 8...

I would love to give her a new home but I have no space or allowed another one!

I don't know why someone would be so cruel as there are rescues round here that would have taken her. I am just glad she was found. She is so beautiful. x)

I hate the smiley face at the end of the note!

Just want to give her a snuggle x

I saw this in the Metro today, so sad.

Been thinking about her all day am sure a home would be offered but Id love to offer one but live in the Midlands and dont drive so am guessing that is impossible:( Hope she finds a good forever home.

My Mums just seen this and said wish we could have her offer her a forever home.

Thats just horrible. The poor little guinea pig. I'd take extra care of a blind piggie. They could have at least taken her to a rescue.

I wonder if the person was one of those people who just make guineas breed and sell them. She probably was tossed out as she couldn't make them money :)>>>

I wonder if anyone from this forum could potentially give Beattie a forever home once she has had time to recover from her ordeal? . . .

She's at RSPCA Ashley Heath near Ringwood, Hampshire.

It would be the perfect happy ending wouldn't it? Plus we could all follow her progress too!

x)

Sorry the smiley face was for her being so cute not for what was done. I am shocked at how some one could do that. I love all my animals and could never do that to anyone or any animal.

I am sorry that it has been mis-read. :(

Me and Mum have both said we would love to offer her a home but distance would be the issue as we are Midlands based, not heading that way until our Easter hols next year and I dont drive. Such a shame know I could get a cage no probs and would find space inside and the RSPCA lady who did my homecheck for Melvin and Parsnip only lives in the next village but I can't get to Hampshire:( Hope a home is offered soon x

Hey, just an idea, but dont give up hope because someone may be able to arrange a piggy train?

I thought it was about the smily on the card that was with the piggy.

This story is so sad, I feel upset that anyone could do this. She is gorgeous.

Jomad1000: I don't think idlewildgirl meant your smiley face on your message - it was the smiley face on the hand-written note pictured in the photograph with the blind piggie. You haven't been misread hun! x

Interesting idea but they may have lots of offers and want to rehome her in the local area, having said that my Monty was originally from Thistle cavies in Scotland! I'll keep an eye on things and hope she finds a forever home soon.

She is beautiful, how could anyone be so cruel. Not only is she beautiful but she also NEEDS love and care because she's blind, how can anyone be so disgusting!

Read that in the newspaper tonight, digusting absolutely disgusting. They should hang their heads in shame

I might be able to help with a piggy train as I should be going up to Coventry to visit my parents at some point over Christmas / New Year. Where in the West Midlands are you? Anywhere near?
If someone could get her to me in Newbury I'm happy to make a little detour.
PM me if I can be of help. Kate x

Wow how nice of you to offer that:) I'm 3 miles form Stourbridge but do have family in the Solihull area of Birmingham, can also get to central Birmingham easily by train. You know I might just ring the RSPCA place this afternoon form work see if she has been found a home or not yet and if they would be prepared to consider adoptions from other areas of the UK. Unless you ask you dont know! I'm guessing they would prefere a local adoption but will ask. Thanks again. Cant get back on here til this evening now x

Hi, I live in Southampton & my parents are round the corner from the RSPCA shelter in Ringwood. I could collect her from there & bring her to Newbury if that is any help, however I could not do this until Jan as I am away for Christmas and New Year. :)

I maybe back for New Year but not until at least 30th Dec.

Wow, this is fantastic – it would be so great if one of the members from this forum adopt this precious little girl.

Good luck and let's keep in touch with any developments of Beattie's rehoming! xx
