Shortage in bedding ect

Has anyone ordered sawdust from amazon? I'm very worried incase there has been something sprayed onto the sawdust. I usually buy the large sawdust from petsathome but the one close to me has sold out. I have one half of the pen fleece and one half either sawdust or megazorb. Megazorb is so smelly and makes our livingroom stink.

Also for freece, what do you wash them with?

I don’t use woodshavings so can’t help you there but I wash my fleece just with a normal non bio detergent (sometimes I add white vinegar into the wash with the detergent as well)

I doubt the shavings will have been sprayed with anything. Look for wood shavings (not sawdust) that have been kiln dried and dust extracted and you will be fine

i put woodshavings over the megazorb,stops the smell,but megazorb increases the absorbency,and the bliss bedding/woodshavings take the poos away from the surface.i got some bedding on line from equine websites !

I wash my fleece in non bio detergent, usually the liquid version, or a Pet Bed Wash (also liquid).
