I just want to double check that everything is healing smoothly...because I noticed he's been picking at it (or grooming) a lot down there in the last day or so.

They did a laser incision They sutured it from the inside and then glued the skin together. It looks like to me that he's peeled the glue off. Nothing is inflamed or oozing as far as I can tell.

They said "It should look just like it does now". However, I don't want to drive 45 minutes for them to take a glance and say it's fine. He has a follow-up appointment on Thursday of this week.

It doesn't look to bad and it should knit together quickly now.
 
Thanks! I didn't want to rush him up there and them send me home and waste gas and time. He's been really good with it up until the last day or so.




**Should add his surgery was on June 16th** :))
 
He's looking good for four days post-neuter! As it heals it will continue to tighten up over the next few weeks; it took a while for Dexie's "baggy" bum to shrink down. :))
