I don't know anything about guinea pigs which is why I'm asking. My friend has a 12 week old guinea pig Rosie who just lost her companion yesterday and she is unsure on what to do. Rosie was the quiet one who liked to hide in her tunnel but she loved to chatter and play with her friend. Is getting another companion the best option. And if so hw long do you wait? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I would look for a companion as soon as your friend feels ready .
