My 2 little girls seem to sneeze quite often. They are only about 2 months old and are on fleece not wood shavings.
Is it a sign of respiratory problems? they are only young.

Most pigs sneeze from time to time.
It is very unlikely to be a sign of a serious respiratory tract problem.

How frequently do they sneeze?

My guinea pig does the same thing, she sneeze's about 4-5 times a day or sometimes more.. She is about 2 years old now. So cute :)

Does she sneeze most when you put fresh hay in? Some pigs are very sensitive to dust, which is very often present in/on hay (even those which claim to be dust-extracted). Shake a handful of hay inside a cardboard box to see how much dust comes off - there's usually quite a lot!

Dust Free Hay (www.dustfreehay.co.uk) is the only hay I've found that is mostly dust free...

I've never really counted how many times a day they sneeze but its obviously enough to be noticable and come to my attention. I wouldn't say its when i put the hay in, just randomly really. I have checked that there is no discharge or anything from there noses and they look fine. I guess its just one of those things!
Will keep a watch on them though, just incase.
