Barnum and Mack have both lost about 100g each since the 9th of October. However I think this is due to them having each other now, them having a larger cage and I'm giving them a larger space to run around at floor time as now using my hall. But should I be worried or is this why they've both lost weight? Barnum now weighs 1200g he was 1300g and Mack weighs 900g although he was 1000g.

I personally don't ever weigh mine - I just go by how they feel. If yours feel okay to you and are otherwise well, I wouldn't worry about it. I have definitely noticed that since mine became free rangers, they have lost a little bit of weight. I'm not worried, as the extra exercise is great for them, but I am making sure, now that winter is firmly on the way, that I give them unlimited pellets and the odd bowl of bran mash (as well as unlimited hay and daily veg). :)

Hi I'm in the exact same position, last week the both weighted 40g more. However, they are getting much more running around time plus it's colder so as long as yours look good and there's no other troubles I would just keep an eye and see if it stays steady!

Id personally keep weighing them weekly to see whether they continue to drop or maintain their now current weight.
