Hiya,

As I said in another post I got my baby piggies on Sunday and they are living out in the shed. They are so sweet but unfortunately making me late for work everyday as they are so comical to watch and I can't tear myself away from them :)

I was thinking as since it is so cold at the moment that I may bring them inside for a couple of months. This would

a) Give me piece of mind that the little babies are not going to freeze to death!

and

b) I would be able to spend more time with them in the evenings and hopefully they will get use to me quicker.

I was greated by lots of squeaks this morning when they heard me coming with my bag of veggies, so I was happy to see that they are getting use to me. I would then be able to put them back in the shed once the weather is warmer.

What do you think?

If you'v got the space then go for it? i bring mine in during winter

Aww, I'm sure they'll bring you lots of pleasure indoors, you'll be able to spend all that extra time with them whilst ebing nice and warm too! Word of warning though, I'd try not to put them too near the fridge, the squeaks drive you mad everytime you open it, you end up trying to do it secretly ;D!

Glad it's all going well, hugs to the boys from me!

OK I will ask my other half tonight and see if he'll let me as the only place I can really put them is in the study - where he spends a fair bit of time.

I could always lay the guilt trip with him- what if anything happens to them, hopefully that will pull at his heart strings!

Gemma - Yes they are settling in fine thanks, Truffle is def the more confident of the pair - he was eating out of my hand this morning, such a cutie! Treacle always comes out of his house as soon as I leave the shed and then runs around seeing what I've put in - so cheeky.

But then I'd have to bring the bunsters in! It did cross my mind when I was in the shed last night and I only have a small lantern for light that when I was putting my hand into the guineas cage what would I do if I pulled out a rat! Argh - scary thought!

Maybe I should just tell him instead of asking him, us women can be conniving when we want to be!

I think you should tell him instead of asking ;D Just a suttle 'oh, I'm going to bring the guinea pigs inside soon' might work ;) Worth a try?

Didn't manage to persuade the other half >:(

He did come out with me at 10pm last night though to see to them and put their snuggle safe in with them. It was still warm this morning and so was their beds so they should be OK. :)
