I think I'd be inclined to ask what the thought was behind it. Perhaps people were buying trio's of females and having problems rather than just buying single piggies but then you would think that would apply more to males than females. It seems very badly worded

I complained about this in my local branch. I think they get lots of complaints about boars fighting so no longer push pairs of boars. My local branch no longer have guinea pigs, they advertise local Rescues instead.

Is there any chance the enclosure could only have female guinea pigs inside? It'd still be badly worded but I could understand it if they were only referring to the female guinea pigs inside the enclosure...or something like that.
This was on the boar cage ! I just thought it was mis leading... Will ask them why they say it I think !

That would be my feeling. Have a chat and maybe they will update it to piggies in general. I think if they get loads of complaints they might just remove the sign and then there will be no advice rather than good advice just not being our across well. Best of luck x
