Should I Get Another Boar?

So recently one of my 2 boars died and my other one seems very sad. He is eating the same amount he ate before the other one died which seems good. They had a very good bond, they never fought and would play around. So I don't know what to do, get another boar or keep him alone and just hold him a lot (he love this). By the way he is 3 years old and is not very nice to other guinea pigs.
