Our younger piggy has passed away she was only 15 months old,the older piggy seems fine at the moment eating and her normal self, just wondering if she will be okay on her own or if I should get her a friend, any advice would be appreciated

If I were you, I'd get her a friend. When I adopted Connie, her friend had died a few weeks earlier. She seemed happy on her own but because she lives in the shed, I felt guilty leaving her on her own so we got her a friend. The two have bonded well and go mad when they're separated. Connie is much happier having Eliza to snuggle up to at night :smitten:

Will ring the rescue I got the girls from now, lets hope they have something available which would live happily with my Molly

Nothing available at the moment, all the single females are very aggresive, one neutured young male there, but the lady is having problems pairing him up with anything at the moment, the lady who runs the rescue said she is expecting more in on Sat,so I'm hoping there will be something available then

Ella just died a week ago and I broke down and got Remy a friend. Remy is almost a year. I didn't particularly want a baby, remy can be rough when playing, but the new one is 2 or 3 months old and so far they are getting along great. Remy rumbles at her from time to time I think to say this is my area back up, but they eat together and I even caught them in the piggy house/bed together! I do think this one will challenge Remy and keep her very active.

In the past I've had one pig at a time and now realize how lonely they must have been.
