I know some people feed borage, nettle and brambles but these are all a bit spiky? Do these hurt their mouths or shouldn't I be worrying. Borage seems to be a great favourite with mine when they visit my parents house but I worry that too much might hurt their lips.

Don't give them nettles or brambles! If it stings you it will sting them. Their mouths are as delicate as ours.....

Dried nettles I believe are fine and often in hay mix but they have been killed and dried.

Brambles are fine to feed! The leaves themselves aren't really prickly, most of what people think of as leaf prickle is actually the little stemlets from the main stem to the leaves. But if you just pinch off the leaves without the stem that's safe and soft.

Younger small leaves are more nutritious and palatable than older dark green big leaves. My pair get bramble 2-3x a week.

My rabbits love brambles and roses, petals leaves abd thorny stems. Not tried Ji gle and Mistletoe with those though. Will be interested to hear peoples views.

Never feed anything spiky, however, the soft young leaves of nettles are a favourite for my piggies. I always rub the leaves on the soft part of my arm before giving it to them, if it's not spiky to me it should be fine for them and they sure eat them fast! :)

They don't get them very often but every now and then I give them something a little different :)

I get a mixture of dried nettles and bramble from my local rescue centre. They love it.
