So I took colossus out for a cuddle tonight as normal and he had decided he no longer likes normal cuddles he prefers to climb me and sit on my shoulder, this is the second time he has done this and it seems to be the only thing he wants from me these days, even when i move him back to my lap he climbs me again straight away.

and now he has decided he wants to sit right on my back, to the point i had to crawl out of my chair and carefully lay on the floor as i was worried he might slip or try to jump so now i'm stuck laying on the floor with a pig on my back, I would enjoy it more if he weighed more it would be a lovely massage.


so he paces up and down a few times and perches as if he's on pride rock, and finally slips off me and then i have to play catch the loose piggy before popping him back into his cage

cute as anythnig but if anyone knows if this behaviour has any meaning do let me know :)
 
haha aww that's so cute! i can't say i know what it means, mine go on my shoulder sometimes so they burrow in my hair, but never quite as adventurous as your pig (who is gorgeous by the way)!
 
That is so sweet. Be careful he does not eat your hair while he is there!
 
Aww he's right gorgeous! He's like a mini Indiana Jones. We named one of the fluff balls Rambo cos she's got an attitude and can imagine her with a little bandana!
 
What a cutie! Rory sometimes goes up to my shoulder and a couple of times attempted to get on my head which is where I had to draw the line! I'd have thought finding high perches wouldn't be in their nature but seems to be what they aim for.
 
I have a naughty little shoulder pig, and can completely relate to the climbing on your back part. Tia likes to sit on your back and you just can't reach her rolleyes.
 
We also have shoulder pigs and also a boob pig! Mish likes to sit on your boobs and clean your face for you, Angus likes to hang round your neck like a fuzzy scarf or indeed run off your shoulder onto the back of the sofa and make a bid for freedom, Suilven likes to be under your chin so you can't move. Struan is a very normal pig and just sits in your lap...
 
hehe he's lucky i love him so much to let him get away with it. he's always been a nosy pig he often stands on his hind legs trying to see into his neighbours cages i nickname him the 'pervy piggie' and say 'oi perv' get down lol
