what your 'herds' live in. Il be needing to upgrade the girls home late september so ideas would be great.
This is my everyday set up when the Tribe can roam freely. The top floor with the mezzanine is for my Trio.

Here is the set up with the flexible multipurpose holiday/introduction pen, depending on whether I use my "door grids" (grids with openings cut in) or not:

The mezzanine correx at the top sits on a wooden frame and simply lifts out for easy cleaning. There are two much loved little cubby holes under the ramp.

The bottom of the tv cabinet has been turned into a big hay tray:

The downstairs sleeping quarters with lots of nooks and crannies as well as space for snuggling up; I have tried to make it resemble a bit like an existing empty set that a roaming piggy herd would take over for the night. I have succeeded in that I have a "guardian piggy" sleeping by the entrance most of the time! The downstairs correx tray pulls out for easy cleaning.

This was the free standing ramp at the back of the cage which I simply removed when splitting the Tribe:

I have special piggy corners around the room to limit the damage to the floor. When not in use otherwise, the extra grids piggy proof our bookcase.

PS: Hub has mentioned a possible upgrade of the cage to a 2x5 gird revamp lately - miracles happen!
My six live outdoors in a hutch..

It's a double 5ft hutch with loft (so it's a triple 5ft really!) They love the very top level and often squish up there together rolleyes
We have a seperate run for them, but they only go in this when we're around as it's not secure from birds/cats etc.
I love this hutch! I paid more that I intended for it, but I'm pretty sure it'll still be standing when I'm old and grey![]()
Wow! Where did you and how much is that hutch... it's lovely! I'm lookingfor larger accommodation for mine and have been looking at the usual square tiered hutches but thats so different!
