We think Jules was a dutch just with the markings not sure Mo is as his rump isnt all one colour - can anyone tell me if they are please?

Don't look like pure dutch but could be a mixture :)
About to take some pictures of my Annie who's a chocolate dutch!
 
Just took a few snaps of my Annie. She's turning out to be a lovely piggy who just sits there when you give her a cuddle. :)

Jazz, our Dutch cross (maybe)

We've been told that pre-loved Jazz is probably a Dutch Cross. When we found this out she immediately was nicknamed "Cross Dutch" as she's a grumpy girl if you touch her tummy or another guinea pig disturbs her when she's napping.

I was told my Lilly was dutch but he doesnt really seem to resemble any of the piggies posted......?

Hummm could be a cross breed as he has the facial markings of a dutch. (White down the nose/chin)
 
Is that what dutch is?

His wife also had this as did the 3 babies they had! (Pet shop piggies, were apparenlty 2 girls, hmmm i think not)
 
Obviously mine aren't purebreeds either but this is what a dutch piggy is defined to look like:
Round cheek markings not including the whiskers but near enough without touching
White blaze on the face should be wedge shaped being broadest at the base and tapering to a point between the ears
The saddle divides the body in two, the front half being white and the rear coloured
White toes
Ears a solid colour

Although I have no idea whos piggy actually looks like that! I'm happy with my two :)

This was a photo comp with a holiday theme, they dont usually gamble and drink :))
 
I had a dutch bunny when I was little so loving their pics, but until now I hadn't realised you could get dutch piggies :))
