Shredded paper

I work in a school and we have a reasonable amount of shredded paper, would it be any good for using in the hutch?

Yes. Shredded paper can be used as bedding for guinea pigs.

Give it a try but ... I stopped using shredded paper as it gets very soggy and doesn’t wick wee away .

You’d want to see how it goes...I think it would get soggy very quickly.

Thank you, it was just a thought as our lovely caretaker mentioned it, I think it would get soggy quickly but maybe a good emergency back up.

It's not very absorbent unfortunately. As you say, ok for an emergency.
