I have two boars (Barney and Ernie) who are brothers and are both about 3 years old. Ernie is very vocal and confident and stands up at the bars when i come near the cage and loves having a run around. Barney on the other hand I have never heard make a sound and when i put them down to have an explore Ernie shoots off making clucking noises and Barney sits completely still and will only occasionally move a few inches if Ernie comes to encourage him. I dont think hes scared as hes happy to sit on my lap for hours and eat treats out of my hand but I'm worried about him not getting any exercise and wonder if theres anything I can try and do to help?

Well, all Guinea Pigs Personalitys are different, and perhaps if you have a room that they can go in and be alone together, without you around until he gets more relaxed about it, that would be great! then, after u see hes getting better and running around in the room with his mate without you around, mayeb then you can go in and get him used to you around, and just don't touch him for a while, then maybe start playing with him in the room!
