This morning when I woke up cupcake my guinea pig had a red and irritated eye and I don't know what it is I've been researching all morning to try to find a picture that matches or information that matches the symptoms but I just can't she has a runny nose and a red irritated eye is it a cold and should I separate or my other guinea pig

She really need to see a vet as it could be anything :( Please book her into a vets tomorrow morning first thing & get her checked, if it's an eye injury it could be serious & needs prompt attention.

Hi!
Generally, eye problems need to be seen by a vet as soon as you can because they can get worse so quickly. Please try to get an appointment for tomorrow if possible.

Guinea pigs don't get viral colds - they get a bacterial infection in the respiratory system. A runny nose can be the sign of an irritation in the nose, but that is for a vet to check out.

What is not visible on your picture - is the redness in the conjunctiva around the eye or on/in the eye itself?

That could be a hay poke or an infection. Please get her seen by a vet as soon as possible. Eyes can turn nasty quite quickly, but heal quickly with proper vet treatment.
