I know that guinea pigs don't have the muscles to throw up, but it looks as though she is, and she's wheezing when she tries to squeak. I have no idea what's wrong.

Do you have any other information or symptoms?

Is she eating, drinking, pooping etc? How does she seem in herself?

Some piggies cant wheek or lose the ability too.

If however this is abnormal behaviour for her i would get her to the vets ASAP. xx

Please have her seen by a vet asap - it can be her heart if her sides are heaving or something stuck in her throat/mouth.

I just got home from the hospital with my boyfriend and I walked over to her cage and she started making those noises. I've noticed her chin is all wet... Much too wet for water.

Please take her to the vets now. Good luck, keeping my fingers crossed xx

Oh sorry, i didn't see your location, surely there will be an emergency vet near by? I do wish you and your little piggy luck. xx

Whee will be crossing all paws and fingers XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

HUGS for you both i do hope you find an emergency vets open or at least one that will talk to you!

If you call your usual vet, they should have a message with what to do in an emergency, usually an alternative phone number to call.

Good luck
