Would they need his notes from current vet?
Called my vet who said the same... Keep feeding and lay him on hot water bottle. He literally has no dignity left because he's so weak. :-(
 
Please take him to a different vets and get a second opinion.

Even if there is nothing that can be done for him, if he's hanging on and suffering then the kindest thing would be to have him put to sleep :(
 
Have to agree with Sarah, the kindest thing to do for him if you think there is no going forward is to PTS.
Oh dear, started me off blubbing thinking of you and the wee fella - hope and pray a vet can find a miracle for him or help him on his way :(

@) he went on his own in the end, finally at peace bless my beautiful little fighter. We are devastated as piggie owners you'd know that feeling. Just our little Bud left now after our other boy died in March. After 5 years its a difficult loss. Thanks again for all your support and well wishes xx
 
In the rainbow bridge section I have put a post about 'gorgeous Leo' just to explain what an amazing little boy he was. It was hard remembering what he was usually like after spending 2 weeks doing everything for him but I thought it would be nice to share what he was like as Leo and not my poorly little Leo. Miss * so much x

I was so sorry to read your rainbow bridge thread.... i was hoping little Leo could pull thru......
