If a sick guinea pig stops eating and drinking, you need to switch to weighing daily at the same time instead of the normal weekly and to step in with syringe feeding and watering in order to keep the guts and therefore the guinea pig going.
A loss of about 50g/2 oz within a day shows that not enough food is going in; a loss of 100g/3 oz means that a guinea pig has not eaten or drunk at all in 24 hours and needs to be treated as an acute emergency. if your guinea pigs are still young, you need to see a vet sooner, as they don't yet have a fully working immune system.

Please see a vet if there is a weight loss of 50g/2 oz and see a vet asap as an absolute emergency if the weight is 100g/3 oz in just a day or two. In the latter case your guinea pig is seriously ill.
