Everyone’s been awhile I have a five-year-old male guinea pig Tucker who is making a wheezing sound when he breeze in and out I can hear it and I can feel it when I put my hand on his chest I made an appointment with my vet but tomorrow’s Christmas so I’m waiting to hear back I have had a guinea pig who has had pneumonia and got her in right away and everything was fine I had brought Tucker in about a month back when I started hearing wheezing I brought him in they checked him and said he was totally fine but still gave me antibiotics just because I was really worried that was the start of a respiratory infection now it’s back and it louder in my question is is there anything I can do for him until I can get seen by the doctor he’s eating he’s running around he’s in good spirits he’s drinking water which is a good sign but I know things can turn around really fast everybody always has great information here so I’m just hoping there’s something that I can do till then

Weighing is to make sure a piggy is eating enough hay.

There will be a thread pinned somewhere about weighing which explains it all.

Morning, yes swap to daily weight checks ideally in the morning to make sure enough hay is being eaten, weight may fluctuate up to 50g which is ok more than that it is classed as weight loss. Is the humidity in the room ok? As this could affect his symptoms 💐
