Hi I need some advice my 7 month old Daisy had babies who are now four weeks, on Thursday when she running around I noticed she was dragging her legs like a sea-lion, I googled it and have been giving her vitamin C and liquid calcium but she is still dragging her legs, she is eating veg and fruit ok but is not drinking, buty she squeaks when she hears the others out, just wondering how long I should give her the vits and calcium and if I should visit the vet. please help

Please take Daisy to a good piggy savvy vet as soon as possible! She could have injured her spine.

And please separate any male pups from her their sisters ASAP. Boys can REALLY start making babies from 3 weeks onwards and girls can get pregnant from 4 weeks onwards, not to mention mummy - a back-to-back pregnancy is very hard on sows and chances that things go wrong are much higher; as are "teenage" pregnancies.

To be honest, if either of my two had lost the use of their back legs I'd have taken them to the vet immediately. If I ever lose the use of my legs I sincerely hope someone would take me to the hospital.

the babies have been checked 3 times for sex and they are both girls, Dad has been neutered is fit and healthy and will go back in with them in a week thank you for the info though always appreciated

I took her to the Vet, told her what I been doing and she said keep on til the end of the week she is now moving her left leg but still dragging the right, vet also said she may have bruised a disk in her back and she was not sure if it would heal or not will keep you posted

Just to let everyone know Daisy is now fine, I kept on with the Calcium and Vit C she is now running around like nothing was wrong and is reunited with the family thanks all for the support
