Junior Guinea Pig
I cant believe my baby Sid has gone to the bridge, he was doing so well adapting to his head tilt after his middle ear infection. He had some bad days but he always pulled through, but it got to the point where he wouldn't walk, wouldn't get up to eat or drink and i had to move the food to him. He always seemed in pain and he cried when i picked him up. After 2 courses of baytril the vet decided there was nothing they could do for him.
I feel terrible about him being PTS cos i keep thinking to myself maybe he didn't want to go but it think thats just me being daft, at least hes not suffering anymore.
I couldn't stay in the vets so i left him with my dad i didn't fancy walking out of the consult room crying so i went to hide in the car.
I'm devastated, he was the best pig ive ever had, he would come up to the bars and wait for me to open the door and rub his chin, he would sit on my shoulder and snuggle up when he was out of the cage, i really feel like ive lost a part of me. He was a living teddy bear.
Run free at the bridge Sid, ill never forget you xx
