We are currently putting the final touches to plans to extend and renovate the house. The guinea pigs used to live in the dining room until we had a flood. for 12 months they have been in the living room but its a bit of a double edged sword - it is really warm in the day and gets cold at night so it means that we can't put them outside in the colder spring/autumn days.

They were going to go back into the extension but it is becoming apparent that means against a south facing bi-fold door.

In the hall I had planned a lovely little snug. with the phone there, a chaise, and a bookcase.....

You can see where this is going can't you...........bye by snug hello bespoke guinea pig cage.....

Oooh! Sounds like a fab project. You might be able to do low level book cases with the pig cage & reading / piggie viewing seat over the top?

Our piggies are in the exact space where my piano was supposed to go.
Obviously we do not have a piano now - no space

Yes the piano is going so that they can go in the hall. I know they are worth it but I had it all planned!

Hehe my hubby was away for a week with work when I decide to do Guinea pig cage renovations... I think he underestimated the scale of the project and got quite a shock when he came home to find out living room taken over by a monster DIY piggie home.
