If he's hunched when he's pooping it could be from pain - keep a close eye on it/mention it to your vet. It might be worth taking another look at his painkiller dosage.

Good to hear he's got some weight back on him and seems a bit happier though.

It's quite easy to get a wee sample for the weekend - if you've got spare syringes like the ones your using for his meds you can use those to suck the pee up with!
You just need to keep him in a carry case/washing up bowl/similar so you've got a clean flat surface to get it from. And then it's just a matter of waiting..!

:nod: that's the plan. He's still much quieter than normal.
 
Poor little chap, hope you can get some more answers and make him comfortable again!

If he wasn't 5+ Id suggest a blood test to get a better idea of what's going on but at that age I wouldn't want to risk it if he was mine :|
 
I'm really reluctant to risk it. He's got so little muscle tone :( bag of bones. However after I've taken a urine sample in on saturday chances are I'll get him a check up with the exotics vet on monday, but will take it as it goes for now.
 
Its horrible when they lose so much weight/muscle isn't it :no:
