Yes I would never let that happen. They only get to interact through the bars. The cage has a lid

Oh no they dont live together. And no even thiugh Carol never tries to attack Alfie there is always a lid on the cage that way Carol cannot get inside

I hope they live peacefully together? I've heard that cats can be too 'interested' in guinea pigs sometimes
